Debi Damuth Bio

I made the decision to become a teacher because I knew I would want the same schedule as my children that I would have somewhere down the road.

I am entering my eleventh year of teaching school. My certifications include grades 1-8, and 2nd grade is the only grade I have not attempted! I love seeing the light bulb turn on when a student finally understands a concept.

My husband Steve and I have been married for 23 years and have two children of our own. McKenzie is a sophomore at Stamford University and Preston is an 8th grader at Lorena. We are currently awaiting adoptions of some children from the State.

I developed a love of running when I was a child and still enjoy running long distance on a consistent basis.

I would love to experience living in other states and countries and plan to pursue that dream when I have no more children at home!
