Dianna Wallace Bio
After 29 years of teaching in the public school system, I retired, but loving children so very much, I could not see a life without daily contact with these precious gifts from God. For 9 years, I taught 3rd grade in Kingwood, TX, then moved to Waco where I taught in Midway ISD for the past 20 years, teaching second grade for 12 years and first grade for 8 years at Woodway Elementary. I feel so blessed to be at Woodway Christian School, it is truly an answer to prayer.
I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Richard, who is with Edward Jones Investments. We have 3 grown children, who all went to First Baptist Woodway.
Probably one of the first things you will hear about me is that I raise wolves. I have for 15 years, and love these beautiful creatures. I have quite a menagerie of animals: longhorns (even though I am a diehard Aggie, Whoop!!), horses, miniature donkeys, pigmy goats, guineas, a rabbit, a dove, 4 cats and a dog. It’s easy to see that I love animals!! I also am quite the “tom-boy.” I love to wild pig and spring gobbler hunt, fish, and ride horses. I can also be a “lady” and cook. My favorite place in my home is my kitchen.
I look forward to a wonderful year with your little one. I hope to make it a fun time of learning and growing.
