Lynn Dunlap Bio

My name is Lynn Dunlap. I’ve been teaching at Woodway Christian School for 8 years. When I was a little girl, I used to play school every Saturday afternoon with the younger children in the neighborhood.

Being a teacher has been the most rewarding vocation, second only to being a wife and mother of two teenagers. I’ve enjoyed working at Christian schools most because of the spiritual aspect. I’ve been a Christian all of my life and watching the little ones grow in their love for God has been an awesome experience for me personally. I am very blessed to be working here and having the opportunity to teach preschoolers to grow both academically and spiritually.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading the Bible/spiritual writings and exercising. I enjoy being with my family in various activities such as: dining out and watching movies together. I also love to watch my kids play their school sports. I not only love kids, but I have a passion for animals too. I have a German shepherd, a pit-bull mix, and three cats. I also have 10 chickens and a horse. My latest hobby is horseback riding.  I purchased an 18 year old mare from Habitat for Horses two years ago. I enjoy spending time grooming and riding my horse, “Lady.”
